he's a very famous photographer in indonesia..just wondering if his name is as well known in singapore as well..he opened a school in jakarta called Darwis Triadi School of Photography..

for fine arts degree it shouldn't matter what your peers think as long as your audience are the ones who appreciate your work. Shoot for yourself and your audience. That is what is most important.

It's difficult to know the Indonesian photographers as one of the Indonesian forum needs a scan of your passport or IC for verification to enter their website. Another issue is the language which is in Bahasa Indonesia.

Personally, I'm uncomfortable with this arrangement of the need to scan my personal data to join a forum and secondly, it's a kind of protectionism.

Singapore audience tend to look to the west, and not to the east for inspiration and to follow........

oh that because of the scoring system (to avoid multiple id) and the for sale forum.
As far as I know, the personal data is safe..only used for authentification

the one that I think matters most is your portofolio..... not your certificate

Your works to your clients will matter more than the cert which serves nothing more but a piece of paper and memory's sake.
