Hi bros/sis..

would like to know if there is any shops out there which offers installment plan when paying by credit card?

Planning to get the 24-105L..but if i save and pay 1 shot, need to wait 10 mths to get the lens..thinking of using installment since the amt i fork out per month gonna be the same anyway..

Please do not tell me get from harvey norman, best denki and all these megastores..their price aint competitive at all..

Thanks

from what i know, if you pay using your citibank credit card (not sure of other credit cards) at cathay photo, you have an option to pay by installment.

i remember reading similar threads about uob credit cards at mscolor. i am not very sure of this. you might want to do a search.

or call up cathay and mscolor and check with them directly.

cheers.

Harvey Norman does offer instalment (12 to 24 months) for lens. However, do not expect wide ranges of lens from HN.

Song Brothers in Funan offers installments for most credit cards, they charge additional though...

the usual authorised dealers like CP, mscolor etc... all have 12mth 0% installment plan. it will be a little bit more expensive compared to cash or nets. i believe the usual cards accepted are UOB or DBS.

Yup, most of the shops recommended here have 0% credit card installment plans.

For MS Color, they will add 5% to the price they quoted. You can also opt for the 1/2 and 1/2 option (i.e. you pay some cash up front and take loan on the rest).
e.g. if you buy a $2K lens and have $1K cash, you can pay the other $1K using the interest free installment plan. This way you only pay the 5% on the $1K outstanding. I believe this can be done with the other shops as well.

Check with the shops.
