Any reports on the P5100 image quality ?

Hello all, i found that this camera has a problem with the live view (CCD?) when it is pointed to direct light.
There is no flare but a streak down the LCD screen.
When you take a picture, the picture will not have the streak, but when a video is taken, the streak is recorded.
Do you guys have this problem too?

Same here... 3 minor problems for me for this little gem.

1. Streak of light on LCD screen (sunny outdoor)
2. Slow focusing
3. Slow in saving/writing onto the SD card

Other than that... perfect for a little compact camera. Good build and loads of user friendly features.:bsmilie:

haha, i join the P5100 party at the end of its life cycle...got it cheap at Courts, ya loving it!
