Hi engineermunn,

Kim Tian Colour Centre
Blk 531 Upper Cross St
#01-06
Hong Lim Complex
Tel: 62769576 :D

Welcome :bsmilie: tonight i am going to send mine to print..

Heh, no see you there leh. I was there around 5.40 to 6.30pm... Only saw 2 kittens outside, but no camera. :( ;p

Aiyo.. i was there at 7.30pm... :D..

KT prices for 4R printing is so good 30cents each.
Since they are using frontier machine.. how come their price is so good compare to BM and Grace?
Is it because of their location which make they can afford to offer this amazing price?? :embrass:

Azure,

need your help! I went to the drycreek website and tried to download the ICC profile for Digipro on my Win XP machine. However, it cannot recognise leh. I also tried looking at the FAQ section but to no avail.

So how do I download the profile and save it on my PC? Also, can I save the profile on a CD and upload into my laptop (which is NEVER connected to internet)?

Thanks.

Wow you are Expert. i gain so much knowledge..

Seem like Frontier machine provide the best quality compare to Kodak Lab...
Does Grace and KT use Frontier machine? :D

Grace uses Frontier machine and charges $0.30 for 4R. But be sure to tell them not to do any correction for your photos. They corrected mine and I found them overly sharpened and the flesh tone was off. My original pictures were quite dark. So i'll touch-up my photos before I send them there for printing.

huh :(.. Grace shop dun do nice touch up ah. :(

I need good touch up skill printing shop :(..because I didn't calibrate my PC colour :(

Hi Karyinn,
there is no magic answer. I've just had my pics back from Grace Labs and I am more than satisfied. Sure, some of them are a little off what I had expected, but there are so many variables involved. Some labs work for some people and some don't. What looks good to you may not look good to me or the guy doing the adjustments, so its impossible for anybody to read your mind. If you have the time and inclination, test out a few labs and see what works for you. In my experience, if you leave the adjustments to a lab, you will ALWAYS get some pictures that you do not like. The only way to be 100% sure that WYSIWYG is to calibrate your monitor properly, buy your own printer and do your own adjustments.

Happy Printing and Regards,

I always send my photos to Shalom Colourlab at Bras Besah. Not the cheapest but i trust their professionalism and quality.

beautiful memories for me.....

:dunno: how to calibrate my LCD?
Anyone can help me online :p through MSN

Seem like i have no much choice hor..
Fotohub, Colour Lab, RGB...

Maybe i will try fotohub...

Hi~
If u think of trying fotohub...
I suggest u try the 1 at Bukit Timah.
Search for the reviews commented by the fellow-clubsnappers.

35mm Colour Lab Pte Ltd
No.733 Bukit Timah Road, #01-06, 2nd Ave Junction,
Singapore 269748
Tel: 64676800 Fax:64673500

agree, 35mm at bukit timah is very good too...
you can buy the package from fotohub but when developing, specify that you want the print done at 35mm instead of fotohub... reason being... 35mm uses fdi fuji ca paper... fotohub uses kodak royal

huh? Is that mean that.. i can send the picture to Fotohub at Raffles MRT. but indicate that they have to send the picture to Bukit Timah side to develop for me?

I mean they really allow us to do that and i no need personally go all the way to Bukit Timah?

No need to personally go now to Bukit timah... just write in the remark column when you uploaded yur order that you want the prints to be printed by 35mm color lab. They will comply.. done it quite a few times... no problem.

Oh ya lor.. yesterday i asked fotohub at the suntect IT exhibition. THey told me can do that :)..

I have a question, it's jumbo print good?
They recommend me to sign up the package for jumbo prints. I am still thinking. Because for jumbo prints, i have to buy the photo album from Foto hub.. quite restricted ... please share your opinion :) ;)

And also, i want to thank you all of u..
I got the printout from KT. Impress ;).. nice printout.
^^..

Hi.
Seems like u have not found yr fav lab yet? You can also try instanz lab (opp Lau Pa Sat). Best colour accuracy.
