Any photographer using Wacom products?

Just want to know, are there a lot of photographers out there using Wacom products, and is it really useful?

Visited Wacom estore (store.wacom.sg) recently and saw a few products, but not sure which one is better. There's this Cintiq Companion which is like a tablet but is a high performance PC running on Windows 8. Thinking of buying it to edit photos on the go, any feedback?

It is useful, after all, when in PS or similar software, is it easier to draw/refine masks/brushes or target specific pressure-sensitive areas using a pen or a mouse/trackpad/point? :D

Useful depending on your workflow and what kind of editing you do. If you do detailed retouching, manipulation work, dodging/burning, painting, masking, etc, yes. If your editing is mostly about adjusting sliders, or broad adjustments, not so much.

Some find themselves unable to get used to it though, no matter how hard they try. Perhaps see if you can borrow one from a friend before investing in something like a cintiq.
