On the dpreview test the M9 still has a little IR sensitivity and with the IRcut filter its totally eradicated and is like the D3x's files.

It's a real deal! Local set NOT parallel import. Pay cash-sub 9K.

Yeah. How to get this great deal? :D

Yes it seems like its the same colour as the M6 titanium but I think the actual texture is different.

Hacker, have you tried using the UV/IR filters with the M9?

According to Sean Reid, any focal length wider than 75mm will have cyan corners. That contradicts Leica's point in the M9 FAQ and the review in dpreview mentioned above.

I haven't been able to get my M9 yet but I planned to keep the UV/IR filters on as I planned to keep my M8.

huh? Worse than M8? For M8 UV/IR critical for lens wider than 50mm.
Oops......ah, it's FF, that's why..:light:, then codings is critical again for 50mm.

Have E43 (chrome) and the E55 (silver/black). :bsmilie:

Have hoods for the Nikkor also, both chrome (with leather case), early and late black versions for sale too. All are extras.

Tested both with and without. I cannot get around the AWB. Like the M8 of old. Color is awful under fluorescent. I'm sure an update would fix it soon.

Fluorescent lighting is the worst to shoot people.
But you reckon that for wide angles, we can keep the UV/IR on? My worst nightmare would be to swap filters when switching between M8 and M9.
Thanks.
