was in HK last week... saw a580 for HKD5400... super tempted to get ... am sticking to my a550 for now

Ok talaga yung A580. Pero maganda din yung A55. Pwedeng bumili din yun sa Johor Bahru, mura din. 950-1000 SGD, body only.

humm... meaning A580, body only, in HK or MY is frm SGD900-1k..
What about A55? any idea?

Any advice I have A33 oks ba partner A580 or wait na lang for A77?

same.. thought rashkae was form somewhere else haha
nice to know that a growing number of pinoys here in sg are patronizing sony slt/dslr..

ever gone to a camera shop with another pinoy in the shop and looks head to toe at you for not making the "right" choice in terms of camera brand because you are using a sony dslr?.. hahaha.. more so if they are in a group and comparing their n and c pro cams..

The Philippines is very "brand mentality" to begin with. But once they see your pictures they usually shut up. Besides, people like that artificially limit themselves. Best to pity them rather than be annoyed by them. There's plenty of "real" photogs in the PH that understand that the tool doesn't matter, it's the results.

And ever fired of an A55 10FPS with a CZ lens when they give you "that" look? It does wonders to shut them up. Hahahah!

Mostly of our kabayans, especially those who just own a cam, think that if your using n or c SOSYAL sila, without them thinking that my G lens is more expensive than their cam...

of course my pics are much more better.....

Just got the A580. And what an adventure and long day it has been, but I must say it is worth it.

Now I understand why the A580 sells.

It's a very user friendly camera, the menu is rather easy to get use to, and the position of the buttons are well thought out.

For lack of a better word...very "organic"...it grows on you.

Can't wait for the battery to be fully charged. :bsmilie:

Nice. Important for the camera to be user friendly.

Anyone who wants to get an A580, can try asking orient for it. They can bring it in from another country. Price wise, still reasonable and I think international warranty applies.
