thanks for the headup for this , lucky manage to get a copy of the today paper and use the coupon at the store , my friend got the set at $915 after using the rebates , dame the blue is so cool . Actually the staff at sgcamerastore says u can actually print the coupon copy yourself and use it no need the actual paper

What's the point of dumb rebates that you need to go thru the trouble of cutting out a coupon? Simply administrative time wasting and making people jump thru the hoop to get a cheaper price (which ain't really that much cheaper). Why not just offer a lower price upfront and offer local Pentax users to trade-up at a special price? The reality is the present retail price isn't so good to begin with. I've checked Ricoh prices lately at the shops and they are definitely unappealing and it looks to be the same for Pentax stuff now. When is the K-5 II and K-5 IIs showing up??? Singapore was one of the earliest on the earth to get new Pentax models in the past but this is definitely not happening... Looks like I might have to source outside Singapore on this one...

Actually our monthly outing is one of the best chances to promote/demonstrate new products. If we had one or two set K5II/K5IIs for the outing, I'm sure a lot guys would come and have their own hands-on experiences.
