100mm macro without the IS is still good. Tokina make very good 100mm macro too and is much cheaper when compared to Canon's own version.

I would have gotten the tokina's version at my time... but it was out of stock... and I am itching for some macro... so bite the bullet and buy the Canon 100mm f2.8 (non-IS version).

Oh... and for 70-200 f4L IS, maybe you can consider the Tamron or the Sigma's 70-200mm f2.8 (VC or OS), you can get them for the same price as the Canon's 70-200 f4L IS or 70-200mm f2.8L (non-IS).

How about the Sigma's? They have fabulous reviews too. The only problem with these two lenses are that they are very very heavy.

For Sigma not so as i prefer tamron as i have a tamron 17-50 now and i like the build.
But i think i will rent a couple more times to ensure that its something i will really use and not buy liao, keep in the dry cabinet.

Honestly, after 2 years of owing the D90, I dare to say I only knew 80% of the body function n still learning.. And till now, I still can't live without the kitty.. Hahaha...

I find 18mm too tight for me. have not played with a UWA though...

There's rumours of a new sony lens, so I'm waiting it out. Between the 1750 tamron and the alleged sony 16-50 f2.8!

so maybe UWA end of this year!

Eh, frankly, i dont think i got any skill to teach cause i am still attending knowledge bowl basic photography course this coming sat for lesson 2.

But if shooting, i every weekend will definitely got 1 day to do it except now chinese 7th month so many parks / night shoot, i avoid
