1. Nope, i only use the vari-power settings as mentioned.
2. Actually this depends. Have to trial and error on the spot. If the result is overexposed, i'll tilted the angle higher and vice versa. Also have to depend on which power selection you use.

Good point there, tom. Understand that its not too good to rely too much on this advantage of digital photography. Still trying to improve on my accuracy in this aspect! Thanks again for reminding.
