What is the setting on your 285HV flash ?

Most of the time i set to 1/4 or 1/2 power. :)

btw, am going to BG tomorrow to take some snaps...
do you mind sharing the settings of your external flash aside from the above mentioned?

1. Did you use the 4 automatic mode color wedges in order to get the best exposure?

2. at which angle you set the flash head (0, 45, 60, 75, 90 deg)?

Thanks doods.

1. Nope, i only use the vari-power settings as mentioned.

2. Actually this depends. Have to trial and error on the spot. If the result is overexposed, i'll tilted the angle higher and vice versa. Also have to depend on which power selection you use.

hehe, what happens if shooting in film? I think it's worthwhile to figure out how to get consistent results from these trials and errors:p

Good point there, tom. Understand that its not too good to rely too much on this advantage of digital photography. Still trying to improve on my accuracy in this aspect! ;) Thanks again for reminding.
