Pls get a life lar...go out and put that 12MP cam of yours to good use. Or maybe you're feeling a little regret that ur cam 'only' 12MP? No worries, can always sell off and switch to Sony (or back to Canon). 
My point is that Sony's all dancing 24MP sensor is not that great after all. This explains why Canon seem a bit cool. I suspect the 5DII and the 1Ds4 will easily win the noise war and Canon know that.

Actually one of the reasons I'm excited by the 5D2 is that it is rumored to have the same pixel density as my 20D, which means I still get the same # of pixels when I shoot wildlife. Of course, getting double the # of pixels with a 50D would be sweet, but I'm satisfied with the pixel density of my 20D, and if Canon can improve noise and / or dynamic range over the 20D sensor, it'll be really compelling.

I'm more interested in knowing will there really be 2 new 5D alike FF camera or just 1 ?? If there is only 1, then most likely it would be very $$$$. If there are 2, High End & Low End, then maybe the low end version is more affordable for the avg joe :sweat:
