As mentioned by other clubsnapper from another thread, I do think this seems like photoshopped. Observe the texture of around the '7', there are tell tale sign of 'cloning tool'.
Fake or what, we are sure there will be a replacement for 5D base on the official teaser so far, and 7D is a likely name if they take the 2 model approach. The wait is near the end. Now where is the 1DsIII replacement coming ???.....

Guess you're right. But it'll be called 7D for sure. And it will be priced about ~ S$4k, same as the 12 MP Nikon D700. :bsmilie:

i think the 5D replacement is going to cost quite a bit more than the D700 man.
Hopefully with a couple of new lenses to boot (tho I wouldn't really count on Canon to do it)....14-24mm f2.8L anyone?

Just saw the Sony D900 preview and sample gallery, quite impressive image quality up to ISO 3200, but 6400 is quite bad, without side by side compare, I think 50D is better in terms of noise. But pricing is pretty agressive, with 24MP & in-camera IS, don't think 5DII can price a lot higher then this, hopefully US$2999 list at launch ?

I doubt so....for price concern 5DII will be talking about in between D700 and A900. :think:
I guess will be around < $5K Sing.

50D when I showed some of my friends, they think its really good. So it returns to, whats the advantage of FF again? Noise has always been its fort but now it seems 50D samples showed that it has creeped up pretty near. Now if they implement that type of density on 5D MkII. 30mp Sensor with good noise control
