the panasonic supplied lens cap can still be used, though not very fitting

At last bought my FZ5 yesterday. In fact, I bought three, one for me, one for my bro and one for my uncle.

Yet to explore the wonders of this cam.

Trying to buy a UVB filter. Is the HOYA brand $10?
Anywhere in NE besides MS selling it? I went to Best and Harvey Norman near my place and negative from both.

BTW, I just realised that when you attach the hood adapter(without the hood), it makes your camera look like a DSLR :-)

i bought a second hand HOYA sunlight filter for 5 dollars, i saw some at cash converters but not in mint condition

btw airconvent, if u intend to buy more lens, then maybe the bag i bought not that good liao, haha i also just realised, but the good thing is that the sides allow u to buy other pouches to straped to the sides

BTW any guys here noe if i require a new adapter if i intend to purchase CU 6t lens or wide lens of 55mm threading

thanks all

the filters working well for you? :)

if you get a wide lens such as the Olympus WCON-07/08, no need to use new adaptor as they are 55mm too.

bought a black FZ5 from MS today...wat a big dif from my beri 1st digicam, a Canon A10.. indoor short so much better now... paid $666 for it, have not buy any of filter yet...is that necessary? so many thing to learn for this cam...

the day light filter ok, but think the +2 filter not in a good mint condition, anyway i dun really feel the +2 effect when using it, anything wrong?

will be going penisula plaza's camera shop to see see pricing of the lens, then maybe go east gear find 3rd party Fz5 batt, is east gear in sim lim???
thanks
