Android users unite!

Mmm sounds good ... I just pulled the trigger on a Kindle this evening though; recently moved house - filled up 10 boxes of books
Wondering if a tablet would be the next solution for comics: cbr, etc

Waiting for it to hit Singapore shores, this weekend hopefully?

Samsung Galaxy SII and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 prototypes are available for demo at Samsung, Vivo City. But it will not be available until around mid June.

I cannot seem to run the kindle app on Android to make any book purchases.

Anyhow, a few of my references are on my xoom. Definitely more convenient.

Wah! I've long time never connected my Samsung Galaxy S to the PC, and this morning when I did, I just discovered that Gingerbread 2.3.3 is available! Had just upgraded my phone. :)

Anyone got any idea when tab 8.9 n 10.1 will b available in Singapore?

Sgs 2 seems to be available now. Just saw it at whymobile web. Too bad I'm not in Singapore atm. Anyone bought it yet?

Will need to skip the SGS2... my SGS' contract still a long long way to go. :(

Hi people.

Sorry to cut in.

Anyone using LG Optimus 2X here?
I just bought it a few days ago.

The battery seems like it drains off faster than iPhone.
On top of that, the batt heats up easily when I surf the net or play games.

I know it is running on duo-processor. So is it a norm for the batt to drain off fast?

Thanks. :)

Go market and install juice defender. Helps to squeeze more juice out of your battery by micro managing your 3g connection among other things. Even the free version is good.

Wondering whether Samsung's Galaxy SII or HTC Sensation is better user friendly phone?

Between the 2, I'd say the HTC. The HTC Sense overlay is great, Samsung only did a few minor tweaks.

Both are Android so the underlying OS is not much different, so the main difference in "user friendliness" is in the user interface (launcher). But then the launcher can be changed, so it is not a big issue. If I were to choose I would go for one with better hardware.

Here is a review that compare both of these phones.

Just got my galaxy s2 today...very fast and the screen is very good. Compared with my previous desire HD ...no fight.
