Sunset ...

Tomorrow will be heading to Las Vegas.

Sadly, won't be staying there for the 4th of July fireworks.

Had no internet in Las Vegas.

Currently in a motel in Page, Arizona.

Photos of Vegas will come in due time.

For now, enjoy one of Zion National Park.

Believe me, the clouds and skies really look like that.

Finally... Back with Internet Connection.

Vegas was awesome. It's about 30-38 ºC during the day and night.
Stayed at Stratosphere, it's one of the tallest buildings in Vegas.
At the top floor 109, the attraction spins you to excitement.

Yes, Las Vegas isn't just a place to gamble, get drunk and find hot chicks to sleep with.
It has a lot of interesting attractions, rides and sights to see.
Each individual hotel hosts their own special item for tourists to visit.
Not to mention, the various shows that one can buy a ticket to watch.

Cirque du Soleil by far is the most popular and well known one.
But remember to walk down the streets first.
Shops > Tix4Tonight sells them at almost half the original price.
One ticket at the official stand goes for $142.50.
At the shop, it's $87.50 + $5 and that's very cheap!

Then it's a loooooooong road trip to Zion National Park and then to the city Page, Arizona.

The little town of Page is actually the biggest city you will find closest to the Grand Canyon.
It's a springboard to places like the Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Mohave National Preserve and Antelope Canyon.

Antelope Canyon

There is the Upper and the Lower section. A permit costs $7 and the tour costs $20.
The tour ticket is required to enter the canyon.
It's pretty tight and narrow, but the distance is pretty short, at best, half a mile.

Similar to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend is about 10 minutes drive from Page.
It just so happened to be in the opposite direction.
However, unlike driving to location, one needs to hike up and over a hill.
Sadly, these sand dunes can take a pretty long time to climb.

Horseshoe Bend, full moon-lit with stars and clouds.
Don't mind the long exposure noise.

Like your series... Wow... nice travel shoots you have here.

Thanks vunjick1.

After a loooong drive again, I arrive in Los Angeles.
It feels like air conditioning during the day, but it gets really cold during the night.
The sun shining and flowers blooming is deceptively cold still.

People are gathering downtown Los Angeles for Michael Jackson's funeral.

Looks like I'd be skipping downtown for the time being to visit Santa Monica.

Hollywood's Walk of Fame is one way due to Michael Jackson's memorial service, in order to facilitate traffic.

The media, the public, the King of Pop.

On the way to Monterey, CA from Los Angeles, CA.

Travel by the Pacific Coast Highway.

It's a beautiful coastline.

Along the way, stop at Hearst Castle. It's just 30 miles south of Monterey, CA.

There are about 6 tours, each 1.5 hours long and covers different parts of Hearst Castle.

Definitely worth a visit, lots of photo opportunities. Bring an ultra wide lens.

Monterey Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world.

Consisting of two 2-storeyed buildings, it has a vast array of exhibits to keep visitors occupied.

There are displays for Otters, Jellyfish, Sharks and much much more.

The fun parts are the touching pools where one can actually feel the stingrays and the starfish.

Ultimate adventure would be to get into a wetsuit and jump into the diving pool.

How long were you at Horsehoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and Zion National Park? Those are some of the most photogenic places on earth. :)

Three days, two nights. Horseshoe bend was some scary **** at night. Rats ran around the place, you hear dogs howling and a coyote approached. Thankfully for the full moon, could see far and wide.

Thanks. Santa Monica's great. LA is awesome.

I pity the Walt Disney Theatre, it was actually totally shiny but they had to sandblast it so it wouldn't blind tenants across the street. LOL

Back in San Francisco.

Decided to pop by De'Young Museum.
They were having the Tutankhamun Exhibition.
Sadly, no photography on the exhibits allowed.

Currently at Lake Tahoe.

It was a long drive from San Francisco through Yosemite.

However, Yosemite was well worth the trip.
