all i know is... take the train to Newton and walk from there along Bt Timah road heading towards Jurong. the walk should not be more than 10 minutes i think.

i'll be doing just that lor... some morning exercise :sweat:

U must be kidding me!!!! It costs approx $4 to travel from the MRT to ACS Barker Road via Taxi!

the absolute latest submission deadline timings should be 1pm, 5pm, and 9pm but you should really try to submit earlier than that because of the long queues to submit photos. the second and third competition themes will be announced at 1pm and 5pm respectively.

Last year even when I submitted mine, got the next theme, still got a long Q of those who haven't submitted.

then those who haven't submitted yet when the next theme is announced will have less time to shoot the next theme. time management is important during the photomarathon.

That's why you need to think carefully, what you want to capture, where to capture and plan for transport to/fro.

Don't forget you need to walk to the auditorium too, that takes time.

Any cam is allowed, but you need to submit the full res shots this time and it must be in JPEG and not NEF.

it's possible to go on public transport, just allow more time for travelling.

so, a typical 4-hour program after being assigned each theme could be:

15 mins - form a concept for the shoot and select the location
40 mins - travel to location
90 mins - shoot
40 mins - travel back to ACS
30 mins - queue and submit photo
25 mins - toilet/meal break

total = 240 mins = 4 hours

u are to use the cam dat u registered with. anyway, they will do another registering of the cam u'll be using during registeration on dat day itself. so, dun bother bring more than 1 cam.

and yes, u have more than enuf time travelling ard singapore within 4hrs per theme.

aiyah... think people here are taking this marathon thingy too seriously lah... just go with a grp of frens, and just have fun. if u happened to get the winning pic, great. if not, just have fun laughing with frens across singapore while doing something we all like - taking pictures.
