i'll be bringing my 27-110mm all purpose standard zoom lens (built into my oly 5060).

bringing along a tripod is a good idea as the grand prize winning shots in previous photomarathons have been shot with the help of a tripod.

I will bring my combat load along. (total 13.5 kgs)

I help you carry the mortars and 77mm recoilless guns! ;)

These are all I have : 12-24mm wide angle and ze kit lens. May bring the 50mm since it's so small but dunno if it'll come in handy for low light situations (since it's in the day, unless it rains). Not bringing tripod; too lazy, lah...

1 lens should be enough - Nikon 10.5DX fisheye

haha... actually, this is where one of those all-in-one lenses come in handy. ;)

if not, as people suggested earlier in this thread, a WA and a long zoom shld be enuf. think its safe enuf, IMO, to leave ur mid-teles at home.

if all else fails, i'm going the way of zaren... just bringing my A80 along for the ride this yr. ;p

shall bring my trusty 1.2mp o2

dun think the o2 gives exif data for the photos. they may also be banned from the photomarathon!

going by previous years' photomarathons, the min. pic size required should be 2mp.

I didn't participate in last years event. Do they actually use the owner's name in the EXIF?

If you read today's Digital Life on NST, it says that there will be a special Mac sofware used to upload the photo. You are to key in your NRIC number in the caption.
