Deals Singapore selling Kindle Paperwhite at $199. Not sure if it's cheap as compare to getting from overseas

I'm using kindle for since year 2011. Never use VPN, and so far never have problem to download the ebook.
Another reason, amazon have few thousands free ebook

me too. I have been buying books from kindle using singapore credit card account for many years. no issue leh..

But I don't like the kindle app on Ipad. No scrolling. much prefer ibook.

If you like computing, technical books, safari online is not too bad. subscription based.

I regularly check the list.. maybe the advantage of a physical bookstore is that I can read the book cover to cover before buying one.
Been downloading samples, but rarely convinced to buy. And free is usually crap.. although not always.

Sorry to bump an old thread. But I wished I found this thread earlier and ship my Amazon Kindle via VPost. I made a mistake of buying one from a local online store and ended up paying $50 more as they jacked up the price.
