Just curious what type of subject will requires speed 1/16000..

Review starting to appear at the Reviews tab under General. Wonder about the pricing

What are the colors that will be made available in Singapore?
Will we be seeing orange here as black and silver is rather common nowadays.

I wonder why they have to make it so small. The RX100 is already tiny enough, and no need to make it smaller, since the GM1 is not really meant for the pocket. They are excluding lots of people with bigger hands.

If they can make a pocketable MFT with a small bright fixed zoom lens like the RX100, it would be a winner. Many fans of the RX100 will jump ship, me included.

Anyone finds the GM1 body resembles the Fuji XF1, esp the orange one?

Ghosts, UFOs, BIg Foot ....... Basically anything that can appear and disappear in a split second

I think they want to compete with the Pen Lite series.

Yeah No point having a small body when it's still not pocketable with the lens. The only selling point that I see is that it's a M4/3 sensor.

I have the RX100 and LX7 as well. Personal view is that RX100 can give better details but metering is a problem and colors not as good as Panny. The Carl zeiss lens is good but not optimized in this camera as compared to the outstanding leica lens in LX7. LX7 sensor is a tad small and noise level is a tad high. I'm getting the GM1 to see whether it can bridge the gaps

My son...

Very tempted to get this though and can pair it with one of the smaller primes (20mm f1.7 for example) and just chuck it in the diaper bag. I think it is an interesting second camera for "more serious" m43 users as well.

The RX100 mkII is already too big for a compact, at that size I rather carry a mirror-less or DSLR with me. ;)

Does anyone know when the GM1 will arrive here?

Can someone tell me where to find the 12-40mm discussion thread? Is it just missing or is it in another forum?

A compact 25mm is something I'd look forward to: http://www.43rumors.com/ft5-there-will-be-a-25mm-f1-8-lens/

I'm already interested in the 25/1.8 ;) If going for around $335, its going to be a very good deal.

The fish eye 9/8.0 looks like a good addition to the kit too, as long as IQ is decent.

The 25mm 1.8 look great... but is not a pancake :(... guess i keeping mine PL25... and it roughly cost around like a 45mm 1.8. look like a pretty good deal
