I wanted to see what's so special about the oly pano that they can only do it with an XD.

I asked the HN sale guys how much 1GB cost and he said $31. :bigeyes: Rrrright....

Been using 2G CF and 2G xD in my E510....so far ok...
the xD card was used in my older Oly cam before...they only support xD that time.

need to switch to xD before the pano can be activated.....just display a horizontal line with side box for me to take pano pix..nothing specal actually.

well... think the most impt thing not to do after you've gotten your gears is not to look at the prices anymore... learnt it quite some times... most impt is to start clicking away...

You have to use the RM-UC1 with the E-510, which is different from the RM-CB1 which is for the E1, E-300 w/HLD-3, E-3, and some older Olympus digital cameras.

1) e510 + 14-42mm + 40-150 = SGD1850
2) e510 + 14-42mm = SGD1600
3) e510 = SGD 1460

The price in Japan when e510 was launched during June-07.

Let refresh the price now..

2) e510 + 14-42mm = SGD976
3) e510 = SGD851

yes. japan pricing is very good one.

E3 body is around SGD2,050 (no bag, battery grip, nor CF card). I think it would drop to SGD1,900 by Q108.
