After purchase maintenance . . . :)

mine i set 48% sometime will drop to 45 sometime increase to 50. i just leave it :D. will take out most of the wkend. so i guess no problem?

No problem at all.

Devote more energy to taking nice photos!
Don't worry abt a few percentage points, unless it's forex or equities ;)

haha i think so too!!!! that's why i'm trying to bring out my cam every wkend if possible =x

yup think on and off will be taking the cam out once every week..it currently stay at 41% quite stable..heard some of the bros here saying 40 - 45% is fine..

ya 40-45% is fine. i had even read online where ppl recommend storage humidity from 35%-45% :bsmilie:

well, like i said, if u take it out every weekly, let it breathe some fresh air. treat them like how u treat people, muz go out exercise abit b4 going back inside n slack ;p after that i dun tink u haf to be that worried about the RH levels in ur dry cabinet, since u will be taking them out frequently just to play around.

yup agree! thanks for the advice!

earlier on I mention that my lenses seems to be "scratched" i realise it seems to me that its the so call micro fibre cloth leaving those "hair like fibre" on the lens, i try using blower but I cant get it off.. thinking of getting a gd micro fibre cloth to see if I can wipe it away.

The one I am currently using it not the same texture like what we use for specs. Mine seems to be rougher. and there is alot of "hair-like fibre" ... suck!

sounds like your "micro fibre cloth" is shedding hair ;)
Time to replace it then.

the thing is.. this stupid micro fibre cloth is a brand new one.. i gues the texture is just different. I am just concern that I cant get those hair like fibre off the lens.

anyway i understand some bros there went to daiso to get the micro fibre! I went and can't find.. its too big! LOL which section can I look out for it?

If you are at the Daiso @ IMM, look near the IT Electronics section. It's by the wall. There was a time I went and it was really OOS..but restocked 1 week later

I guess 'micro-fibre' is quite a generic name, and a number of different materials can be classified under this label. Hence the variance in quality.
Where did you buy your cloth from?

It came free, yes i think the material is slightly different. But it states that it can be use for camera. ****! the brad is gosh! i think.. lol defintely not those smooth material we use for our specs..

....I rather walk into those recommended camera store (even spectacles shops also can) and buy it than buy online. Thou you can save a couple of bucks.

you can try to look for 3M Microfiber...or the Chamois Lens Cleaning Cloth (if cannot find, just make sure it is not this kind, this is the furry type which will "shed furs").

yes think have to buy at camera store.. any shop in orchard/somerset area ah? I interested in 3M.

mine is not as bad as the one you attach, but it shed its fibre.. haiz kns. and it kind of stuck to my lens now. Use blower no use.. I wanna get another new microfibre cloth and see if i can wipe it off.
