Thanks god. Finally got one from JB, Malaysia(probably the last piece in JB). What a superb lens.

Great sharp lens... but i ended up using my 105mm VR more.... I find that i had to stand closer to compose the shot with an 85mm

105/2 DC and 135/2 DC are superb lenses. No regret.

For 85mm f1.4G:

RM4700 - shops at JB (if SGD strengthen against Ringgit, you earn..I paid about SGD1980)
SGD2012 - SLR Revo (no stock, as told by a salesperson, there would be some mark up of SGD50-200 elsewhere due to limited stock)

For 85mm f1.4 AF-D:

SGD1370 - www.artworkfoto.com (grey set but come with 1 year shop warranty)

now should be quite easy to get than last time. I got me in JB foto Berlian. Last piece from them back in Nov 2010.
KSLmall in JB. Foto CLS also have almost the same price. The serial number also quite nice. a lot of 8.

Yes too me this lens is sharp and nice. But indoor small room will have difficulty since 85mm you need to stand quite a distance. and i guess it design for outdoor use more.
