PS. You just got me worried again. I just tried out ~ 100 frames on the 24/1.4, on the TV, on faces, on subjects, various distances....all no issue and 100% hit. Decently dim lighting 1/60-1/200 f1.4 ISO 1600. Apparently only in the demands of weddings and in reality (subjects are always moving, you are talking and trying to control the environment, shooting with just one hand etc) always screws it up, and some ballrooms are so damn dark that you need bounced flash to fill in a bit. It is very different.
But if there is really a chance, think will also rent the 35/1.4 but really need to put it in real use, at least for my usage.![]()
100% hit with AF-S 24 f/1.4G
I hope that this AF-S 35 f/1.4 G is as good as the 24 one
