is it worthwhile to buy nikkor 35mm f1.8 and sell my nikkor 50mm f1.8?

50mm has a further reach and is good for outdoor and smaller item
35mm has a wider view and is good for indoor and bigger item...

hmm... but 35mm is about twice as expensive as 50mm...

why do you want to do that? have you asked yourself?

both can be useful for a number of things.

personal preference.

who knows what you really want other than yourself?

anyway, if for me, I will keep a 35mm lens and a 50mm lens, both are at different focal length lens, it does not duplicate or can replace another lens.

true... hmm... actually i just wan a general purpose lens... one that i can shoot indoor and outdoor...

which is why if i take the 35mm, i can cover indoor, for outdoor, if it is too far, i just move along... hmm... what do u think?

oh oh, for me, i think it will be an overkill to own for fast lens...
and my budget not a lot... so i think i can only choose one of them...

U can use both for indoor and outdoor.. just walk to cover the possible distance..

Another vote for 35mm. I own and use 50mm but many times unable to capture the whole frame indoor due to obstacles and space constraints unless I knocked down the wall behind me

okie, 3 votes :)

just curious, isn't 50mm and 35mm a bit too close to each focal length, y not a 50mm and another wider like 10 - 17mm ? :bsmilie:
