its possible to do HDR without tripod..
just shoot 1 raw image..go back and pp a +1stop and a +2stop..then combine the 3pics together for HDR..

uh just convert your RAW to a radiance file also can.....

Go to File Conversion options in photomatix..
 

If I am not wrong, even if the photos are slightly off, photoshop would crop and complile the photos automatically. As long as the difference is not too big, i think photoshop can handle it

Unfortunately, Photoshop's HDR plug-in is not very effective at conversions. Photomatix seems to work the best for me, at the moment.

Depends on where TS expose for..i base on his first pic, to maintain the exposure for sky..;)

Yeah! Still prefer Photomatix over Photoshop for HDR..:thumbsup:
 

in principal yes, but there are many various ways to overcome that.
i will go take a photo and show you the difference about the time of day thing that i mentioned
