Advice for music video

Hi all, I'm planning to do a music video for a cover that my cousin made just to get the experience. It's a cover of Omen by Disclosure ft. Sam Smith
Here's the link to just the audio that my cousin produced https://youtu.be/lrRA9E4t3V0
I need advice on the lighting I would have to use if I'm going to shoot at night on some back alley in the city or some ulu road in Tuas. I don't have much of a budget; thinking of just renting a HDV-Z96 LED light. And also if anyone has any experience, maybe just share some tips?
I'm using a 5DIII with Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC

Hallo, what's your concept for the mv? What type of shots are you looking to get, types of scenes, etc? Singer walking about looking emo type, lip-syncing the words here and there? Unless it's really integral to your concept, I'd vote against shooting at night. Might even be more flexible to shoot day/dusk for night. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_for_night

Can run some test shoots in your actual locations and see how it goes? Never shot with the 5dm3, but have seen some examples of ppl cranking the iso up to 10k when needed? Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fw1ZhWbY1gw

The z96 is quite small, but you might be able to rig up some sorta DIY diffuser with tracing paper to enlarge it a bit when needed. Some ideas here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly930bOK-eU

bounce! get the F&V K4000 from CRC. one panel should be enough.

you wouldn't want the light to be too harsh or too weak so try bouncing the source off a large foam board. you can get a nice soft and even key.

try it out first before the actual shoot.

Thank you kandinsky. I'm planning to have my main shot in a studio and then the storyline in cutaway shots in other locations at night. I only have one subject and the style I'm going for is more edgy and obscure. I think it is like most MVs where the singer would walk around and look emo and the camera just follows. Oh and it'll definitely be lip sync.
I'll go and explore the day for night technique but I'm quite afraid of adjusting colors as I'm partially color blind. I also have a large reflector which might make the lighting a bit better?
