something different ......

I am lost for words. Very professional stuff

Great stuff indeed!

I love the idea as I think it's a very refreshing change from the usual bridal gown photos.

And I like the series of poses with the signboard 'High Tide'! Very cute! hehehe...

Hi joho,

Just curious, it's there a reason why you arrange the page in this manner? Anyway, pretty  i must say.

thanx to venom, guru, will, ab, cheesecake, morder, chris, KO, spitfire, jaix, seng, nathan... ;p

chris : the whole album uses flash, except for pg4 and pg5. for outdoor daytime, and in the restarurant i used kenneth's jinbei lights, and for night time outdoor i used nikon's wireless ittl system. studio of course use the studio's strobes ;p

jaix : yeah we were walking back already, then saw the sigh, and just hit me, and they were quite responsive to the idea, so after a couple of poses, the rest was they all come up themselves. ;p

seng44: which page do u mean? generally for my layouts i prefer clean cut lines, i hate curves, and i TRY not to do to many of those fancy stuff like composites (like pg5, i dun like it that much, but the couple does so that's good). clean and straight to the point is how i like it, and as such, pg9 is my favourite layout.

as in why that piece is page 1, 2, 3 and so on. If it's you those photos you take in page 1 first, or maybe there's a story flow from page 2-14 since page 1 is a cover page.

oh... well it's in this order, becos i shot them in that order. :)

we went to sentosa first, then to the restaurant called Mosiac at Club street, then to the studio and then to one fullerton. :)

i wouldn't say there's a story between pages.. but on each page it should be able to tell something that they're doing. except for the studio shots, those are pretty much plain portraits.

My fave is pg 5, 9 and 14 :D

U thank so many people then u never thank me!!

i only got 3 words ....

siBei Swee siA

Pretty professional stuff like what you see from some bridal studios..but I would say that generally the lighting techniques can be improved, as in some of the outdoor pictures, lighting is slightly too harsh. I also find that the studio lighting was not done well enough. I think its tough in your case since the girl looks very fair, and her face reflects a lot of light. (I am no expert so its easy to comment, but I know its hard to produce).

thanx fullmetal jas proloser novello! :)

novello, thanx for the comments, willl take note in future. :)

SUPERB!! esp. love the angles... dynamic and fresh!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:.. and the expressions on them will last a lifetime. :)

Good job Joho!

A question: Did you have to sought permission from the restaurant to take those shots? Thanks.

Favourite is 5, 12 & 14.
I can see you are adding alot of different sences & feeling into the book. U miss out sunset ;)
Good one

Impressive album!
Layout and design much better than your portfolio book! ;p

thanx guys, really appreciate your encouragements.

yeocolin: yeah have to get permission, of course. brought in strobes and all that stuff hahah :) this was the place the couple spent their first valentine's day together so it was meaningful for them. if anyone's interested to dine there, it's called "Mosaic" at Club Street. not cheap tho... ;p

gryphon: long time no see man! yeah sunset was spent rushing from the studio to one fullerton area. ;p

drud: haha yeah that's good then, gotta constantly improve!

schon: bu gan dang lar, all learning together!
