the 9-18 looks sharp!

Nice pics! im a big fan of urs now after getting my E-PL1 abt a few weeks back =D

Hi Andrew , the photos are nice and interesting , keep it up ..add oil .
Maybe I should get a m43 . but somehow I still like to use the VF . And I think the VF2 n Vf3 is kind of expensive .
Thanks for sharing .

Thanks bernard-neo........E-PL1 is a very power pack camera that is still capable of delivering excellent and awesome shots! And I'm still using it. Congrats in getting one.......Happy snapping!

Thanks supmylo.........I agreed that the VF2 and VF3 are rather expensive. Have not tried the VF3 yet but will see how good and responsive before getting one...........I didn't like the VF2 that's why didn't buy one.
I prefer a EVF to a OVF anytime............It has many more pros than cons compare to the latter.

Here a shot using the m.ZD 9-18mm lens for you guys! There will be many more shots to come using this lens and the FT version............Enjoy!~

Nice series as usual! Contemplating any other more lenses soon?

Thank you wonglp............Wish and Want but can only Dream lei ...........that's why still shooting with Kit lenses :embrass:.........still waiting for some kind soul to T-loan me a few lenses to try out..........with the m3/4 system people are already spoil for choices on lenses (already lost count how many they have churned out).....would and could probably afford only the 3 attached-on convertors for the new Mark II R lenses.......don't mind to try them out......

Anyway I'll shoot with what I have in my hand........I'm already very lucky to have cameras to shoot...........can't complain leow.........Hehe!

Here's another shot for you my friend............Cheers!

Hi supmylo.....I didn't like the VF2 not because it's no good in fact it's one of the best EVF in the market right now.........it's just that it didn't meet my needs...........also expensive lei.

VF2's EVF is indeed very bright and the refresh rate is very responsive............however I find it too bright for my liking: it's not so sensitive to subtle exposure and WB changes............Colors and lights are the 2 utmost important factors to me ..........

Will definitely getting one in the near future as my eyes sight are failing me already.........can't see far and also can't see near
:embrass:...........that's why composing and reviewing using the rear LCD screen is getting very difficult for me now and not to mention it's even tougher using it under bright sunny days............

So EVF is the way to go for the future................and so are the mirrorless compact system..............as one can see many are using LCD screen to compose their shot oledi leow!...........In the near future people will be watching the movies inside their glasses instead of monitor screen..........C'est La Vie!

Here's a shot for you my friend...........Cheers!

andrew,
i think the brightness of the vf2 can be adjusted; on the other 2 issues, you might be
right. but i find it worse when i view the lcd or led under the bright sun - kua boh le...

btw, do you find Adobe Photoshop CS2 good? me use free ware "PhotoScape" nia.

Hi Jim..........I was informed by OSC staff that the brightness cannot be adjusted.........Yes totally agreed with you .......under bright sun the LCD/LED screen really 'Kua Boh".........that's why I always have a hard time shooting under these conditions!

Let's see if the VF3 is any better........I oledi cannot see far and oso cannot see near now under bright sun lagi 'kua boh'......How lei?

Look like I die die must get the VF3 leow..........;-)

I'm still using CS2 for my photo editing and Picasa 3 for my browsing and basic editing..........I find Picasa very easy to use and fast for my many many pictures cataloging ...........will have a look at PhotoScape later......

Here's a shot for you my friend........Cheers!

i was told by my regular camera shop assistant that the only advantage of
vf3 is the lock. display and resolution is not so good. try both out before you
buy.

let me revisit (if) the vf2 brightness can be adjusted on my epl2 and revert.

both the vf2 brightness and temperature can be adjusted...
menu -> hotshoe (5th icon) -> C (elec viewfinder) -> EVF Adjust
