Nice portrait. I like the directional soft light which makes the subject stand out.

Thanks johnlim.

I'm glad you like the shot. Will post more portraitures later when time permits.
Mean while here are some of the Creative Art Filters shots of the my recent Oly E-PL1 acquisition. I'm getting to like this little cam. It's so easy and so much fun to use!

Thanks mabmy.........I'm so glad that you find this shot to your liking 'cos I was initially quite concern that it might not be
so easily accepted as most of the photos posted here are silky smooth and ultra sharp.
As you know there was once I showed a guy my photos and he so 'impressed' with the shots 'till I told him that they were all shot by entry-level Olympus camera and kit lenses and then he went freaked out and started to pixel- peep my every shot for noise. A poor thing......he was told by some friends that Oly were 'no good' as they were very 'grainy'.
Well he is at best just a GWC and not a photographer......hehe :)

Anyway here's a shot taken with the 'Pop Art' effect for you my friend, Cheers!~

Your photos deserves :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Simple equipments to make fantastic photos, inspire me to make full use of my equipments.

I've a question here, for 77, do you use tripod?

Genuine great photographer makes the camera looks good. You are one good example.

I confirm it has nothing to do with ur camera or lens....

Its really U!!! Im amazed! :)

Thank you all gentlemen for your kind words and compliments.........Often times I'm just really lucky to be blessed by beautiful weather and good fortune to be there at the right time and place.......I'm just a walkabout shooter with a small cam that's called a PEN.....

As to pchmj question whether I shoot with tripod.....the answer is usually NO even though I sometimes carry it along with me.

The thing about the on-board IS (Image Stabilization) is that it's really very effective and spoiled me "thru' and out" and had made me a very lazy shooter (please don't follow me here.....must always use tripod for good picture ).......
Now with the mirrorless Pen there is even less vibration just like the range finder cam Leica and the rest........, you can shoot with even slower shutter speed.

At the moment I'm spoiled beyond and have "throw' out" my tripod oledi.....hehe....just kidding!

Here's another shot taken without tripod only on 2 legs.....As I seldom planned or staged my shooting, you can see that the famed 'golden hour' period is way over for this shot and my many other shots too......

Cheers~
