As to pchmj question whether I shoot with tripod.....the answer is usually NO even though I sometimes carry it along with me.

The thing about the on-board IS (Image Stabilization) is that it's really very effective and spoiled me "thru' and out" and had made me a very lazy shooter (please don't follow me here.....must always use tripod for good picture ).......
Now with the mirrorless Pen there is even less vibration just like the range finder cam Leica and the rest........, you can shoot with even slower shutter speed.

Thanks. I'm a fellow PEN user and I feel that since the purpose of getting a PEN over DSLR is size and weight, it seems more logical to go light while traveling.

Thanks pchmj....... You are right about the advantages of PEN over the DSLR is the size and weight........plus many many more!


This little gem has many many secrets yet to be discovered. I'm totally amazed with its features and functions.

Shooting with the PEN you are no more a photographer but more of an artist liao!
With a normal cam you "See, Compose and Shoot" but with the PEN you have to "Create, Imagine and then Dream"....hehe!

There are endless combination for you to try and play with this cam. To be honest I'm in a daze and bewilderment with this little cam.
The creativity of the "Art Filters" is only limited by your imagination and noting else!

I'm having a great time shooting with this cam and never a dull moment 'cos every shot is for you to "Create, Imagine and Dream" !

Thanks hope107fm......Yes it's a new toy, just acquired it last month and is now putting it thru' the pace to see how far I can push it.......unbelievable that even my wife loves using it........... Oly has finally hit upon something good and I'm very sure the next one would be even better if not a winner! By then maybe I would kiss my DSLR bye bye..........


I'm also hoping to lay my hands on the M.ZD 14-150mm Lens for the coming Zürich Street Parade next week..................Calling Oly......Sin..............hehe. ;p

And maybe after that will try the M.ZD 9-18mm Lens......we'll see...........
