haha... Nice video. I am not sure if you want my feedback?

It was slow at the start i almost gave up (for videos on the internet, unlike the movie with the audience captive, if there is nothing on the first 3 seconds, people are likely to click out).

The middle was interesting. I grasp the idea but fast forward as it was too slow pace.

I like the comical part on the train. I waited to watch it for a while.

I have no idea what was the end and meeting the french man. And i didnt wait.

But i am impressed with the concept, the effort and the shooting.

Thanks for sharing! :)

Sorry if my comments doesnt go well.

Hi JacePhoto,

Thank you for your attempt to watch the movie. I agree with you that the modern audience has an average attention span of around 15 seconds according to extensive research done by youtube. I am aware of that but it completely doesn't bother me. I make movies because I love movies and I will keep going until I can still hold a camera in my hands.

Making "movies" that will be watched by many is an easy task. You just buy time laps paraphernalia or film bikini girls washing a car. The question is why would I bother to produce these kind of things? The answer is that I won't bother no matter what.

Perhaps you should give it a shot and watch the whole movie from the beginning till the end. Who knows, maybe you will love it? At worst you will just experience something unusual and loose 21 minutes of your life.

Cheers

For those who may not know, the opening scene of the Indian immigrant by the seaside and the local holding up the paper signboard
"Robert Rubicon"....

is alluding to the phrase "crossing the Rubicon"

i.e. to do some action after which one is committed to a certain course of action.
i.e. a momentous decision that is a turning point in one's life.

(the phrase comes from the crossing of the River Rubicon by Julius Caesar with his army B.C. 49.)

The script for what the actors say in the video can be improved.
The actor as local employer had to say "You are very lucky..." too many times until it became irritating to the viewers of the video.

Hi,

Thanks for watching my movie. Indeed, the name of the main protagonist alludes to Rubicon as you wrote. However, the immigrant is a Frenchman, which is clearly shown in the later part of the movie.

Many Singaporeans, including me, repeat phrases/words quite often. This is how a spoken language is.

This movie is symbolic. It evokes certain responses by bringing out what's common to all of us who had to go abroad in search for a better life.
