Hey there guys! I saw one your post regarding getting the a99 set in HK? May I know if it is trustworthy getting from there? The only place I know in HK that sells electronics the most is Mongkok. Any shop recommendations on where to get it and lenses?

We have a long thread regarding shopping for gears in HK.. u can try to search for it.

If u were to say Mongkok..you might want to drop by the big retailer name Wingshing and Manshing. They are just next to each other about..4 shops altogether. Authorized dealers so you can also get them to do the international warranty thing on the spot for you. Need not waste a trip to Sony style. To put into Singapore's context.. they are like our Cathay photo. Big shop with alot of things.Not the cheapest..but not the most pricey as well. :bsmilie:

Played a bit of A99 @ Wisma with the attached 28-75 the camera feels heavy this is coming from A77.... but the price is exp 3899.... grip is 399 and new flash 699 this is going to be painful if you buy in SG no package deal also.

The full fame a99 should naturally be heavier than the a77. But I am expecting it to be lighter than the a900/850 with 24-70mm 2.8 combo I weight the combo last night , it's like a weight lifting session .

Slr revo should be selling at the same price as mscolor. I drew money and went to msc this morning only to find that's its oos. Turn it to be good thing , as I decided to resist the poison :sweat:.

Yah went to Wisma and tried the demo set. There were 3 sets in wimsa but 2 sets been reserved and left with 1 set. Tempted to buy but think too expensive and about to walk away. The salesman suddenly ask me whether i am local and has a local bank credit card. He said can pay by 24 mths instalment zero interests. Very evil the salesman! Next thing out came my credit card and came the a99 on my hand. Super impulse buy!

You can use DT lenses on A99...The full frame will just turn into a APS-C sensor.

You can use DT lenses on A99...The full frame will just turn into a APS-C sensor.
