I played with a prerelease A99 about 3 weeks ago in Tokyo and really liked it. The weight and size felt good etc.
I bought the A99 yesterday and I now find that it feels a little light and very hollow. It does not feel very solid. Then again if you think about it, if they can squeeze everything into the size of a RX-1, there is bound to be ALOT of space in something the size of the A99.

Hey there guys! I saw one your post regarding getting the a99 set in HK? May I know if it is trustworthy getting from there? The only place I know in HK that sells electronics the most is Mongkok. Any shop recommendations on where to get it and lenses?

Now it is available in Singapore. Not too expensive as compare to 5D3 & D800.:bigeyes:
Still ok if not getting from HK. At least local warranty and cheapest pro FF camera.
May think of getting it from Singapore. ;p:think:
Not sure they still can convert international warranty and accept by Sony Singapore if get from HK.:dunno:

if i not wrong..if u buy from msia u can convert to international warranty right...should be cheaper there..

Hk can convert local warranty to international warranty by visiting Sony stores in hk. Some of the reputable local retailers will convert the warranty for you on the spot.
