A9/A9R coming soon

No la...... thinking of eos m cos of price.

to me, the price of the EOS-M vs the price of the A7 is not justified.

i'll take the larger sensor, easier controls and overall better features and ergonomics any day over the EOS-M

Thanks for the feedback. Cos of my ef n efs lens... it makes sense to me. But I'm holding out for now... I'll need to test the eos m first n also.... see any new update on next m.

Sensor size is part of equation. But canon sensor is ok... except for dynamic range. ..

I thought eos-m2 launch already ?
Sg slow huh ?

AF may have improved with the new firmware, but the body is too small and very hard to handhold, especially with the bigger EF and EFS lenses. Very disproportionate and looks more unbalanced than a Nex with Sony A mount lens.

Price is good though... for the EOS M version 1.

I thought price is really good.....

That aside. ... I need to touch and feel it first and try out before I decide.

Was hoping a better one come out soon... but that price will be another issue.

Yes, current price is really attractive, but I guess most buyers are not using it as main system, but as backup in case their full DSLR runs out of juice and the small EOS M can take over, to cover moments without camera.

Buying it now is cheap, but when a new version appears, temptation to upgrade will mean buy/sell at loss still.

Personally, I think the size is just too small. Though the trend is going for smaller camera in Japan, it must still meet the ergonometric design and for stable shots. Even the camera strap hoop is unique and very hard to get good nice ones to use with it.

I see.... My hand is a bit big too... so not sure if I can hold it well.... mmmm... lol.. should just try it out.... lol..

I seldom sell my gears... so I think still ok... but if M2 comes, M will drop more value...

That's why it is scary, and they, S, can just "kill" their PC Unit.... pressing the "Kill Switch"... :nono:
Sooner or later Sony will sell all their consumer electronic brands. :) The Vaio brand is sold and their move to spin off the TV unit is just the first step to sell it, too. Sony Wisma needs a smaller showroom in 2015. ;)

I miss the 90's when the Sony Inside catalogs still had about 300 pages of consumer products...
