I didn't know her body is made of magnesium alloy..... weather sealed..... hv apsc senor and ovf......

When the interest/demand for A7/R dies down. A7/R still cash cow for Sony so no way for them to kill their current favourite.
In fact, they need to put in resources first on bringing out good lenses, not just to keep A7/R buyers happy, but sell their lenses at a good premium - every A7/R users are ready to spend. Just look at the sale of 35FE, 55FE and now the 2470F4?
I am guessing that the next one to bring out will be a 36mpx RX2, or perhaps a direct intro to RX2-R.

They should launch the 16-35 UWA FE or any prime UWA FE lens first before even thinking going to A9/Rs... At least the zoom tele 70-200G is a confirmed lens in their roadmap, no more updates from Sony regarding other lenses in their roadmap. It's really pissing alot of A7/R users off...
yup.. brands like C and N or F are pure photography companies, but S brand is just a consumer electronic company and they will keep launching new products very often like their laptops and TVs in order to keep the sales moving..

it seems that interest is waning down, can spot quite number of sellers in BNS
Common trends for all new cameras. Just like Leica M9, M240, or Fuji X100s, etc.
Quite a few A7 users are selling to upgrade to A7R for better IQ and ISO performance.
Some bought overseas set cheap and trying to make some profits, due to the higher price charged here.
Some are new buyers who may not know Sony system but just read reviews of how it takes great pictures and then realised you still need to aim properly and hold the camera steadily. No OSS.
Some are impatient with not enough UWA or zoom lenses, or macro lenses.
Don't think it is conclusive that the interest is waning down... in fact, we have a very active BNS forum that you can find literally BRAND NEW UNUSED item bought today and sell TODAY.

I got a 5 year old Vaio Z still running very well, except battery life is not holding as well. Where do I locate the "Kill Switch" button you mentioned?
Is it hidden under the battery cover? Or a combination of a few buttons pressed at the same time?
