Will be getting the a850... but someone feel that its lacks the wow factor.. I wonder how long can the a850/900 last before they get obsolete...

Hmm after using until my 7D is in tatters, I feel a need for a robust body which A900 meets but unfortunately the sale price will burn a huge hole in my pocket.

A850... trade off on 2% on viewfinder and slower AF... and the price wun burn too big a hole... seems quite viable to me now. At least until I see something better than A900.

A850 has Slower AF? AF should be the same as A900.

A850 have slower continuious frame rate 3 frame per second instead 5 frame per second.

It's not slower AF. Just FPS.

There isn't anything significantly different worth mentioning between the A900 and A850 other than the continuous number of frames per second, like what Rashkae mentioned.
