A850: budget FF?

Well, 850 has lower res so at least file sizes aren't large like with the 900..
as for weight, guess I'll have to pump up some muscles in my right wrist..
or I'll just use the 700 for long haul assignments...

Who says it's lower res? From what I hear it's the same A900 sensor.

exact match to the 900, that is, according to the Sony manual for the 850.

Yes I believe it is below or close to 3K. Good price.
.. but well.. I need to go pump up my right arm I guess...

If it is selling @ 3k, it is still out of reach for me...

I probably have to wait another year for the A700 replacement or quickly going and grab the
A700 from HK.

Are they in US dollars or singapore dollars? So if singapore dollars...street market can get A750 at around 1k...Not bad...;p

I think it is in USD. Convert to SGD and it would be closer to what A700 was when it first came out.
