How much is the pre-order price?

pre-orders already over right. launched and sold on 25th nov. now is just walk in and buy retail, or waiting for next batch if batch 1 was sold out.

42mp may not be for everyone, especially the sports folks.

Can always set medium raw/jpeg if 42MP is hard to be managed in sport photography...but not the reverse way if you need high MP some times.

Japan international set (English menu) is only going for 4.1k after all the tax refund Can consider going Japan to get it instead. $4.7k. You can use the $600 savings to travel there.

Anyone knows where still have stock for A7R3? Sony & SLR both out of stock :(

Anyone here knows any difference between A99 II and A7RIII?
Thinking between the two but could not decide.

really depends on what lens set up u have? if already have many A mount lenses maybe a99II is better?

A7R3 if u have no a mount stuff and wanna adapt canon or leica lenses or willing to buy e mount stuff?

Adapting Canon make sense but if it is to adapt Leica lenses, wouldn't second hand A7Rii a better choice, cheaper too. Since you won't be making use of the much improved AF... unless of cos using the techart.. anyone tried that on A7riii? With its larger batt capacity, techart might not be draining down the batt that fast as compared to A7rii.

i am using the techart.

to be honest i think the techart AFs better on the a7r2 for initial af aquisition. on the R3 it seems to hunt more initially. but after the tracking locks on, the r3 tracks much better with the techart.

also with the techart the AF seems abit more fussy on certain lenses, and still perfect on other lenses.

one big plus. eye AF works super well on the techart, even in tracking.

battery drain seems less obvious now with the bigger battery, but still present.

what's the street price now? does it still come with additional battery and the high capacity SD card?

I can get 4399. Sony Changi Airport but stock only comes in 22 Dec. Free SD
card plus battery

No need. Staff price. No need wait till 22 Dec. Now have one stock left.
