don't have too high expectations of the 35 1.4 wide open. it's known for its nice rendering but is not super sharp. Even the super sharp 55 FE is showing considerable higher CA on the a7r2. the high resolution will expose all the lense weaknesses.

That means the 55 1.8 not doing too well on a7r2?

It's glossy but holding up well against smudges plus you get the word 'Sony' printed at the bottom.

How can we compare entire continental Europe to Singapore. We should be comparing major cities eg Frankfurt.

Is it truly an allocation issue? Did we see this happening with other manufacturers when releasing flagship models?

I've nothing against Sony as a whole. Just peeved at the marketing department

first round of canon lens AF test with my Techart adaptor on the a7r2.

canon 16-35 2.8 - works well
40mm f2.8 - works well
sigma 24 1.4 - super fast (fastest AF of all my EF lenses)
sigma 50 1.4 - doesnt AF with techart. but tested to AF with metabones
sigma 150 2.8 - doesnt AF with techart
canon 135 F2L - doesnt AF with techart

It does what its supposed to do. Been using these semi hard ones on most of my previous sony systems.
It's like a thick plastic. Doesn't affect clarity or whatsoever.
