some thoughts after the hands on. I never owned mirrorless before but have tried a6000 last time.
EVF, the EVF is much better than a6000, the a6000 one give me a fake feel but a7r II's feels very natural. But I felt the shot to shot EVF lag still quite obvious with a7r II. anyone else feel the same?
Grip, the grip is deep enough for me, although i still find a bit hard to squeeze in my little finger. a6000 one makes my last two fingers very tired after a while.
focus, the venue is very well illuminated, i hardly can find a place dark enough to test af in low light. lowest i got was iso 4000 f2.8 1/80, the AF still pretty snappy but that is not very dark anyway. otherwise the focus is very fast and accurate.
IBIS, the image stabilization seems work very well. handheld shot at 1/60 using 55 f1.8 looks very sharp at 100% review. on my dslr i usually need to up speed to 1/160 at least to get sharp shots at 50mm (yes, i have a very shaky hand)
performance, generally the camera feels responsive. one very noticeable lag is reviewing image at 100%, after pressing C3, you will feel the camera freezes and about half second delay to show the magnified view.
