I actually prefer the more popular 70-210 rather than the 75-300, having used it ages ago on my old A850. Now regretting having sold all the old gear away, would surely come in handy in case I decide to get the A7/A7r. Just want to find out if the performance can be good enough on a 24/35mpx sensor, so I can go and hunt for a good copy after I get the cam.

I uploaded couple of snaps this afternoon on my FD 50mm 1.8 ( my bad its not 1.7 as mentioned), you can go to the image thread to get a feel. I bought a cheap adapter from ebay previously as well. seems to work well.

It really isn't that big...."barrel" size is similar to M203 launcher... Camera body size is similar to the XD11... I may upload some comparison pics another day

Mine is the newer version, or commonly known as the nFD version. It's a truer standard lens, which is 50mm. lol... Mine is much cleaner and newer than the one on auction, plus comes with original hood, haze filter and correct FD to NEX adapter. Better deal than that one on auction.
