Seems the adaptor is quite thick leh... The lens still ok... Must start looking for an R90/2. Any good adaptors to recommend?

Two Novoflex . . . R to M and M to E-mount. That combo has the bonus of being able to use M extension tubes with R glass.

Two Novoflex . . . R to M and M to E-mount. That combo has the bonus of being able to use M extension tubes with R glass.

Wah bro... poor man I am. Still want me to buy 2 novoflex adaptors! LOL. I am not a birding afficionado, will skip the M extension route. Btw, R90/2 must get at least a 3 cam version ya? Saw this R90/2 APO! Crazy price...

Then just get the R to E mount. Tubes are for macro anyway. Kipon starts to get dangerously loose after a while with heavier lenses. Novoflex is built like a brick sh*thouse.

The 90 APO is overpriced, like many of the later iterations of R glass, especially those made in small quantities. ebay is a risky place to look, too. There are click-and-mortar places with solid reputations that offer a return policy and a warranty on 2nd-hand glass, IME cheaper than ebay.
