Bro tntrue doesn't own a 135 Elmarit. I briefly owned a M-mount 135mm Tele-Elmar (#11851, IIRC), the '60's-'70's version of the later Tele-Elmar-M; and it was an amazingly good value. But all my M stuff went out the door with my NEX-7.

To my eyes, M glass never really had the "ooomph" on the NEX-7 that R glass had. So far the R stuff looks the same on the A7, plus my R wides have no color cast and no corner sharpness issues (on either body).

THAT lens is incredible. I got one just because of all the great pics bro Albertri posted with his. His shooting skills with that FL are a lot better than mine, but I'm working on it!

Same for me bro I have another version of Elmarit 90 M mount one of the older model and I don't really like the rendering (maybe just me) I once had a 90R elmarit and I find that better performer but sold it when I have gotten my 90R cron love this lens on my NEX7 and even love it on my A7r

I cant do 180 f2.8 APO plus 2x APO converter and get a great birdie bro But I love the 90R Cron even love it on A7r

That combo doesn't seem to do quite as well on the a7 because it shows more of the image circle. The 2X APO, good as it is, induces some CA of its own making in the periphery.
