I thought folks would dig in the no AA filter and huge 36mp I like A7r specs as I dont really shoot video and uses mainly legacy glass..... But even me now is a bit thinking after what I am seeing from sample pix and reviews the purple cast seems bad in A7r even at normal lighting using RF wide lenses even 28mm ones...

Still torn in between you're right the price gap also is huge.. Thats another factor I am considering

Already advised u bro. Its up to u. Haha. I'm gonna test my cv15 later on d A7. D wifi feature is good. Fast n furious.

Just saw Bro Ageha posted links on A7r seems it not all lost hope with A7r on wide angle legancy lenses after all, just get those non-RF wide angle should help on the magenta cast

From the comparison reviews I read online, the a7R actually takes slightly better video than the a7.

it is better, and the a7 has pretty bad moire while the a7r's moire is more controlled , significantly better iso performance in low light conditions for video on the a7r too even when the a7 has pixel size advantage. Many fail to realise the AA filter on the a7 is only for stills and does nothing to cover full 1080p videos, me included until recently. so for videos, a7r is the way to go.
