does A77 has an option to shoot in LV or just mainly thru OVF.
im A500 user and LV shooter as well as im not really comfortable with....
A77 is a DSLT, so it's full time live view.

Currently seems like one downside to dslt is the 30% light loss. Will this voltage Controlled transmissive mirror allow 100% light thru on shutter release?? Instead of flipping mirror use voltage control for light to hit sensor. Can't wait

That's pretty well known from Day 1. The 7 series is NOT the sony full frame series, and sony has repeatedly said the full frame camera will be released after the A700 replacement.
This isn't actually new since A33/55 have been on the market for months now and this subject has been debated on for ages and A77 should not be any different if not better.

Our sources confirmed that the A77 is under heavy testing. Two anonymous testers contacted us to share the first impressions over the A77:
1) “I am the photographer that reported earlier about the A77/A800 and I’d like to say that paired with the Zeiss lenses the images are very sharp, the 24MP res is good for big closeups, although I can’t reveal anything about the ISO noise. The focusing system is quite fast and accurate.”
2) The second photographer said that resolution is amazing and they measured an 60% improvement over the Sony A55. The A77 is the best APS-C camera he ever tested. And the electronic viewfinder is also a huge step forward compared to the one used for the Sony A55. He said that you hardly will miss the optical viewfinder.
I am preparing a few new SR5 rumors over the next NEX and A77 cameras. So stay tuned on SonyAlphaRumors!

Looking forward to this new EVF. I tried the X100 hybrid evf, very nice, but still not that whooping to me.

haha. you're talking about the GUI within the hybrid EVF/OVF? as usual... the Fujifilm GUI has never been that user-friendly
I tried X100 hybrid OVF/EVF at IT Show just now.
I like it and feel it is better than Sony EVF!
Woah... interesting times... let's see if the A77 will be a game changer like the A700, A900 and A33/55 are... they changed the perception of quality at a reasonable price point... I am just hoping the A77 packs some secret feature that will send the other players back to the drawing boards...
Hmm but you never find it's laggy when switching from ovf to evf and the momentary freeze at half press ?
Yah the thing is I didn't see much tearing in the x100 evf .
Let's see if this will be a game changer indeed
