That lens on the mock up looks like a new lens too!
Never seen a sony lens that resembled that.

With its big front element, looks similar to the Minolta 28-135mm. Could it be a 24-105mm F4 we have been waiting for?!!! :bigeyes:

Anyways, preferred the squarish design on A700, A850, A900.
The curves remind me of Canon cams, not that i dislike Canon cams, but the squarish design is what made gave the A700, A850, A900 its unique looks.

Coming from the industry....looking at that stage. Where Form, Fit & Function stage is reached...well the launch date would probably be very soon....

Looks like they had to release the new flash possibly due to factors which might be related to clearance of focus assist lamp on flash window maybe...
Or as I mentioned in some forum site...the need for a Lamp type function for video - just like how canon has released.
