You just need to go to the service centre, ask for an upgrad, they are quite friendly and polite, should not have any problem, I got mine replaced with a smile.

A95 is a good Digicam, S$ 140 is worth it.

my friend was joking after i told him abt the upgrade...he said the cheapest way to buy A95 now is to buy 2nd hand A70 for 200 bucks and wait until it spoils then pay the 140... 340 for a brand new A95 is cheap eh :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

u think possible to sell at ard 500?abt 10% off the street price for a brand new set

i think it's only applicable for certain faults on the cam..have to let the service staff let a look

was told that the upgrade only applicable if they dun have stock of the A70 CCD..hope they dun have stock man..anot not worth to repair for $140 :bsmilie:
they will give mi a call within the next 2 weeks

i noe it's a gd cam..in fact all the Axx series are..which is y i bought the a70
but 5mp is overkill..i only print up to 4R at most
tot can get a cheaper 3mp cam
i search the bns..noe abt the 3mths warranty thingy..
anyway if neber get anywhere near 450-500..most prob will keep my A95..IF i get the upgrade that is

it's better than a spoilt a70 without warranty or a repaired a70 with 6 mths warranty on ONLY the repaired part (which should be the CCD) isn't it?

Y 5mp is overkill? One can alway set to lower Mp to have more shot, A95 is much better A70, more features.
Of course nobody know what the life span of the new CCD will be.I upgraded with no regret.
