Collected my a6000.. think the freebies are the same as posted before.

First impressions versus my Nex 7:
- Some might miss the auto level, I don't feel it's a big issue.
- New features take awhile to get used to.. I don't like how the camera tries to auto-crop my pictures for me, thinking it's a portrait.
- The layout of buttons is different, but ok. I do like the new video button though. Less obvious.
- Build quality seems ok, but Nex 7 is still better. Even things like the scroll of the dials seem less premium.
- Hotshoe looks empty without something there.. maybe need to consider buying something to slot there?
- Image quality certainly no issue. Took a few test shots and low light performance seems better than Nex 7 and AF seems slightly more accurate.. for the rest need to test some more.

Now to figure out how to update firmware of all my lenses so I can try out PDAF..

What do you means by "Auto Level" ? Does it have auto ISO ? I noticed that it doesn't have Level Gauge which I find it useful at times.

Overall, do you think it make sense for a change from Nex-7 to a6000 ?

Go to Sony style and try the A6000 with your lens. Take your time to go thru the features and handling. Then decide for yourself, worth the change?

Then add in a A7 too. Then buy a A7r also for 36MP. then A7s out also buy. Then since buy so many liao... might as well buy A5000. Take selfie gd one.

Gotten mine 2hrs ago from IMM Sony.

Can't remember what are the free gifts for the pre-order but I got the below:

1. Extra battery in retail packing.
2. 16GB Sony Class 10 SD Card in retail packing.
3. LCS-EBC Brown colour camera leather body case.
4. LCS-BBF Grey colour soft carrying case.
5. Black colour canvas tote bag.
6. Black colour Sony dri-fit T shirt L size.
7. Black colour Sony jockey cap.

Everything seems fine on the camera except that the writing speed to the SD card is pretty slow.

Just collected mine... got all the above except black LCS-BBF instead of grey.

Plus:
- no brand 3.5" screen protector (will make do while waiting for glass sp for A6000)
- lens cleaning kit (practically worthless)
- 55mm hoya filter for my pwp 1670z (at least some protection)

A6000 IS the Nex7/6 replacement... like it or not.

Sony is pushing Nex6 users towards A6000 and Nex7 users towards A7/7r/7s

Just got my toy yesterday. I am using sigma 19mm on it but I notice that when I use the continuous af at wide, I only saw the af only blinking in the small area in the center. Is it because I am using non sony lens? Or other reason?
