Anyone knows how much A35 will cost in HK?

Harvey Norman Millenia Walk sale for A35 again today. First 30 kit sets at $699. Was the first to get one. Didn't take up the additional 50mm 1.8 lens for $100 since it doesn't sell well on BnS and I rather use my old Minolta 1.4. I don't know whether all this first 30 sets thing hold true as a $110 Samsung dual-screen PnS I was contemplating getting was gone by the time I returned after making payment for the A35. At least that's what the sales staff told me. Maybe they'll have another sale next Saturday due to their 10th Anniversary. My first new Sony camera after countless second-hand Sony and Minolta DSLRs. I still miss my old Minolta 7D though.

hi, finally got my A35 yesterday at harvey norman millenia walk.
they were having a sale and i got A35 at $799 (kit lens + 8gb card + messenger bag + 50mm lens).
now looking for a good price for 75-300mm lens.

this is my 1st dslr (actually its a dslt), finally a big step forward.
look forward to learning from everyone here.

welcome to Alpha I'm sure you'll enjoy this cam =) IQ is much better than A33 ;-) this A35 has the same sensor as A55 =) for the 75-300 you could hunt the BnS there are some selling thier Sony 75-300 there =)

thks guys. i was considering this over HX100V, canon sx40hs, canon 1100d, nikon d3100. as i'm on a budget, i thought this looked like a good buy.

actually i was quite lucky. the offer price was $699 (only kit lens) for 1st 20 sets. the salesguy offered to give me the 8gb card, bag, 50mm if i top up $100 more.

next items to buy:
- dry box
- 75 - 300mm

There should be some 75300 on BNS. I recommend a 50mm 1.8, and a beercan =) but those can come later la, they are always in abundance in BNS.

I rather you get a dry cab. long term usage and lower risk. =)
